One goal is to be 24 hours, but another goal is for everyone – literally, everyone – to know about us. In the U.S, where there’s an already existing mental health framework, people know that help is out there. They can google it and ask for it, and when they see a flyer on the inside of a bathroom stall, it makes sense.

Over here, “first in Bangladesh” means that we have to first explain what we are, and then say that we exist.

So how do we do this? How do we publicize, on a large scale, with low-to-no funding to do it with? What are low-cost ways to get the word out there? At the beginning, we were comfortable with only little bits of publicity, to make sure we knew what we were doing and that it worked. Now we’re confident on that front, we’re planning on expanding shifts in the next few weeks, and we are ready for the next step.

…If you have ideas on what the next step should be, let me know! We are always looking for ways to let more people know.
